We love tasty desserts that don’t need much effort, and something tells us that most of you feel the same way. This is why we were so excited to discover 1-ingredient chocolate mousse from food content creator Bethany Cameron.

In a video posted on her Instagram back in October, Cameron shared a recipe for chocolate mousse that uses only one ingredient, and it is stunningly easy to make.

How to Make 1-Ingredient Mousse

According to Cameron, all you need for her chocolate mousse is chocolate chips, water, and a blender or food processor.

Combine one cup of chocolate chips with 2 ½ cups of water in a blender and blend for two minutes. According to Cameron, there shouldn’t be any clumps, chocolate needs to “completely disintegrate,” and water should double in volume.

Next, pour the chocolate into a bowl or small cups and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, you will have a delicious chocolate mousse that you won’t be able to get enough of.

Cameron notes that the taste and the sweetness of the chocolate mousse will depend on the type of chocolate chips you use. This means that you can mix things up and create different kinds of mousse so you never get bored of it. Check out her full video below.
