This Fast Tandoori Salmon Recipe Is A Life-Saver

Tandoori salmon is a popular Indian dish you can make in 35 minutes. You can find all the ingredients below, even the ones you need to prepare a masala sauce for the salmon. This recipe is great for both lunch and dinner, especially when you don’t have too much free time.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger + garlic paste
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Greek plain yogurt

For the masala you need:

  • 1 teaspoon dry fenugreek leaves
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • salt
  • 1 teaspoon red Kashmiri mirch powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • pinch of orange color

Instructions

Get a bowl and fill it with the spices, yogurt, lemon juice, and ginger + garlic paste. Mix everything very well together.

Place the salmon in the marinade and leave it in for at least 10 minutes.

Set the oven to 400 F degrees and prepare a baking tin.

Line up the salmon on the tray and place it in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes.

When the time is up, turn up the heat and set it to broil. Leave it in for 3 to 4 minutes.

Take out the salmon from the oven and serve it immediately. Add your favorite sides and mint chutney on top.
