Three Ways To Cook Fish Perfectly Every Time

Eating fish is a great way to keep up with your necessary omega-3 fatty acid intake, as well as vary your diet in a delicious way. Although fish can seem a little scary to cook, the best thing to realize is that even if it is underdone, you can eat fish raw so you are never at any health risk. So here are ways to never fail at cooking it, so give them a try tonight for dinner.

Roast

Roasting fish is one of the easiest ways to cook it because you simply put it on a tray and forget about it. Season whatever type of fish you are working with and set it in the oven at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes. If the fish is thinner, cook it for less time, and longer if it’s thicker.

Poach

Poaching, or cooking in liquid, is a sophisticated way to let flavor absorb into the fish in an easy and healthy way. To do so, pour liquid over the fish just enough to cover, and heat until almost boiled. This will usually take about 8-10 minutes and your fish will turn out perfectly.

Grill

Especially in the summer, through your fish onto the grill! Just cook 4-6 minutes per side and you’re on your way to a delicious meal.
