Instructions

  1. Start by soaking the pitted dates in boiling hot water for at least 20 minutes. This will soften the dates and make them easier to blend and digest.
  2. Mix together in a large bowl the coconut flour, eggs, melted butter, date syrup, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Once everything is mixed and the dates have been soaked, put them in a food processor or use an immersion blender to make them into a paste.
  4. Add the date paste into the other ingredients and stir until just mixed.
  5. After everything is combined, you can add in any extra ingredients like dark chocolate, nuts, or leave it plain.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
